WCW NWO Topps Autograph Set post 1/101 Brad Armstrong

Welcome to what has become my collecting passion!  You may know me from my former blog Jaybarkerfans junk or the later incarnation Willinghammer Rising.  Some time has passed but I have still been busy. In the spirit of keeping this is brief as possible, I would like to share with you what is my final PC.  There is a vision for the future with me in this hobby after I complete this quest and some of you already know but for those that don't...I have a long term plan to open an LCS IN 2022.  It is my belief that to be best in this venture that I should have no personal collection but first I want to complete something that has become my obsession.

Welcome to what will be a tour of my progress in completing the 101 card WCW/NWO Topps autograph set.  The set was issued over 3 different Topps products back in the late 90s.  The set is littered with legends, HOFers, and head scratchers.  It has been proven to be a very worthy adversary.  So far I have acquired 59 of the 101 cards available.  This set is not for the weak of heart.  So let's begin with card 1 of 101...

Brad Armstrong
Brad was not the first card acquired for this set but perhaps my most treasured. My earliest wrestling experiences were centered around Continental wrestling in Alabama. Brad appeared occasionally and I met him as a kid.  The main star in the territory to me was Bullet Bob Armstrong and when I saw Brad was in this set I knew I had to find it and eventually I pulled the trigger via Ebay. This started my belief that I would like to chase this set.  I love the presentation of the autographs.  What I will also share is that I always thought Brad was one of the best technicians I've ever seen.  Gone too soon like many in this set, Bad Brad aka Candyman, aka Arachnaman was as smooth as they come.

Thanks for checking out my new project and I hope to see you back for the next one!
